Disneyland is great, but it is a long drive, and nothing there hides in a cornfield waiting for you. Arizona has its own fall scare scene, and it stretches from the Valley to Tucson to the high country.
These four farms and haunts turn rows of tall corn into twisting, spooky trails packed with costumed characters. Grab a flashlight, round up your bravest friends, and pick the maze that fits your nerves.
1. Fear Farm Haunted House Phoenix AZ, Scottsdale, AZ

Five acres of corn sit at the center of one of the Valley’s best-known Halloween events. Fear Farm on North McClintock Drive in Scottsdale mixes several haunted houses, rides, and that big haunted corn maze into one night out.
The maze is the part many people talk about most. The paths twist and turn, and characters hide in the stalks, so you rarely know where the next scare is coming from.
The haunted houses lean on realistic props, detailed makeup, and creative layouts. Clowns show up too, which is either a bonus or a dealbreaker depending on who you bring.
Plan ahead on timing. The event runs evenings, generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday through Sunday, with Saturday going latest at 11:30 PM.
Parking is paid, either in the lot or on the street, and restrooms are on site.
2. Terror In The Corn, Marana, AZ

Southern Arizona gets not one haunted maze here, but three. Terror In The Corn, out on West Avra Valley Road in Marana, weaves multiple themed haunts right into a massive cornfield northwest of Tucson.
Expect strobe lights, smoke, loud music, and uneven ground underfoot. Scare actors with chainsaws roam the paths, and the decorated sets make each maze feel different from the last.
A parade of ghouls adds to the show before you even step into the rows.
Between mazes, there is more to do than catch your breath. The property also offers ax throwing, gellyball, and escape rooms, so a group can easily fill an entire evening.
Wear sturdy shoes for the bumpy terrain. Hours run Thursday through Saturday from 6 PM to midnight, and parking is on site.
3. Tolmachoff Farms, Glendale, AZ

Not everyone in the family wants to scream all night. Tolmachoff Farms in Glendale solves that by offering both a family corn maze and a haunted corn maze on the same property.
During the day, the farm runs like a classic fall outing. There are seasonal pumpkin patches, a petting zoo, and photo spots nearly everywhere you turn.
Once it gets dark, the haunted maze takes over for the braver crowd. I like this stop for mixed groups, since little ones can stick with the gentler maze while older kids test their nerves.
Hours run Thursday through Sunday, with Friday and Saturday open until 10 PM. Parking is free and on site at 5726 N 75th Ave, which keeps the outing friendlier on the wallet.
4. The Willis Farm, Snowflake, AZ

Up in the White Mountains region, cooler fall nights make a cornfield even spookier. The Willis Farm in Snowflake is the high-country pick for anyone who wants a haunted maze far from the Valley crowds.
The farm’s lineup is packed. There is a pumpkin patch, regular corn mazes, a haunted corn maze, train rides, and laser tag.
The scare cornfield is the big draw after dark, and it brings people back year after year. Saturday is the best bet for a full day, with hours running from 9 AM to 10 PM.
Weather can change quickly in northern Arizona, so check the farm’s social media for closures or delays before you head out. Parking is free at 381 1st St E.
